it didn't work when jumpered. So I found a place with a new solenoid,
bought it,
installed it.
Now get this. When I replaced the neg. battery cable, the starter started
spinning. With the key off, etc. It did

units. Specifically I thought the resistors were calibration for the
different horse power of the engine. For example if the 300SD one was put in

A two year old '66 200D with a manual transmission was my first diesel.
Wonderful, reliable car, but really underpowered if you do much

joints, tie rods, bushings, etc. Still squeeked over large speed bumps.
Turned out to be the brake rod mount on one side. Didn't see that listed,

It appeals to me also - but that is probably because I was force-fed one of
those steering wheels many years ago and lived to tell about it. Other
driver had the more normal ones for the day and died instantly. I still
prefer those 4 temp slides to the electronic ones.
