Everything I've found in the manual for measuring chassis height calls for
special tools (section 40 of the FSM).

might consider bending the control arm.
You say that the lower arm acts like it is stretched. If you arced it a
bit, it would shorten the arm.

Yabbut then the whole system is fried. Hijacking might be easier with a
more powerful control xmtr but you would have to find one that was
compatible with the rcvr, there probably aren't that many frequencies
and protocols. A jammer would drop it right quick but that might be
illegal.
