I think it’s kinda boring because of the pastel gray and blue interior. My
pastel gray 240D not as boring because it has a parchment interior which is a
rare and weird color combo. Manny tranny also helps.

Well I put a new fuel filter on and it started but was struggling to run before
now the damn thing won’t start at all. I filled the filter with fuel as when I
put the new one on it wouldn’t start and the new filter did not have any fuel
in it when I took it off again. I’m wondering if the fuel

You're not wasting it on a 60x engine. Oil analysis of the two 601s I had
suggested they could handily go 10,000miles on Mobil 1 between changes.I mean I

What do I do when, after removing the bolts, the alternator only wants to pivot
around the bottom mounting ear instead of coming loose,
What about the threads needs cleaning? Are they damaged, or simply have
sealant residue?

Good quality diesel oil like Delo 400 LE is cheap. I can do a complete change
with Delo 400 LE on the 95 E300D for under $35 every 5000 miles and not have
concerns. If I used Mobil1 it would be near twice the cost. Since Mobil1 is a

When I replaced the belt tensioner on that engine shortly after I bought
the car, I used brake cleaner to remove the oil, then blue Locktite on the
bolt. Apparently it didn't hold so well - - - probably needed better/more
cleaning.

I did my solo flight in a 40 hp cub, at age 9... to short to reach the wing
tip, just big enough to hand prop the 40 hp. Rule was, always tie the tail.
safety first. Throttle friction set was not always reliable, and solo hand
prop safety required the tail be tied...
The rope trick worked
I'd use the magic disappearing knot that Dad used to entertain the neighborhood
kids.

the rope you run to the cockpit, that will let you hand prop an airplane,
safely, then climb in, strap in, pull the tail wheel rope release, take in
the rope, and let you taxi away to fly?
