The idiot lights comes on and goes off when engine is running and idling. Once the battery is charged for a few minutes, the engine fires up. When key is turned to off and engine stops, car won't start again because the battery has no juice. Car is with the dealer who diagnosed ignition switch.

This is actually a good way to learn some electrics. Get a decent multimeter, the cheap (like $5) one at Harbor Freight is garbage, the expensive one (like $30) is surprisingly good.Set it to DC, 20v range. Pull the negative battery cable and with a fully charged battery measure your voltage.
