[MBZ] E320CDI Commercial
A friend sent me this film commercial on the E320CDI. It may be already old but is kind of cool. http://www.daimlerchryslertvmedia.com/www/projektseite.php?nav=40show=119/content.html Wait for the movie to load and turn on your sound. What a way to impress your teenager son.. Tan '82 240D '87 190DT '91 300D

My wife's bike is a Kawi 454LTD and the Harley guys always wave. Interestingly I was gassing up the Kawi one day and a Harley guy (late model fatboy) came over and complimented my Harley. He was of course ignoring the Kawi badging on the sidecovers (the tank is custom with no badging) the inline twin motor and the big radiator upfront. Eh whatever... He did give me a funny look when I fired it up and took off, being liquid cooled it is very very quiet. -Curt Date: Wed, 17 May 2006 02:36:12 -0500 From: Zoltan Finks [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [MBZ] The wave To: Mercedes Discussion List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Ah. Interesting insight, Bruce. Interesting subject to me. I've seen school bus drivers wave to city bus drivers. I've known Harley riders not to wave at Jap bike riders (but other, more congenial Harley riders do - even to crotch rockets!). I can say that I often wave to other fellow commuters on bicycles - especially in the winter around here, when you truly have something in common with them (fortitude). Brian 83 240D - New Yahoo! No idea. Looked at some of the interior pictures of E320CDI's on Ebay but did not see that button. You will want to have the front upper spring perches checked, as well as the doors under the gaskets (keep an eye on them)... as well as the usual OM60x IP seal issues. (I understand that GP's can be a MAJOR hassle. When mine go, if they are stuck, I will pony up, then make sure to pull them and antisieze them... as well as an annual pulling/reaming of them as a prophylactic measure. BTW does anyone know the part number/price of an OM606 GP reamer? (The plugs are about 7 long IIRC, which really presents an opportunity for carbon to pack in there... Also, does HARD driving and lots of highway mileage help burn out any carbon which may have accumulated in there? The traction control DOES tend to kick in a bit much for my tastes (and it seems to kick in way early)... did they put ESP on the 210.025's or were they ASR only? I've definitely had to tone down my use of the pedal, as it behaves VERY differently from my (retired) 126.120 did... You can drive it like you stole it, but you need to disable ASR and I'm sure its hard on tires (chirp chirp).. The ONLY thing I would complain about is that the truck nozzle at the place where I fuel will ALMOST fit in the neck properly... if it had maybe 1/4 more clearance in the neck It would be good. (60gpm nozzle is sweet!) (although the slow nozzle is still 25gpm...)
