That's how I built my last one, in 1982, and still solid (last I knew 0
sold the house 3 years ago).

For future construction, I would like to recommend that you look at using a
coloring agent for the concrete pad. The concrete is then the same color
throughout the entire pour, No paint to flake or chip in the future.

At the proper time in the concrete cure cycle, use a concrete sealer, which
goes on looking milky, but is absorbed into the pores of the concrete and
very nicely resists stains and discolorations which happen to bare unsealed
concrete.

Cost of sealer is generally much less than paint, certainly much less than
epoxy, and gives the concrete a "finished look" when used over colored
concrete.

The color agent used to make colored concrete is usually a powder additive
to the concrete, much the consistancy of tile grout material. There is a
pretty decent range of colors to choose from also.

It's a simple 10 x 14 shed, not a garage.

Do the powers that be require a concrete foundation in your locale?

My plan is to build a new and bigger shed - probably one that looks like
a small barn in order to get the storage room in the loft area. The one
we have now is one of those flimsy steel bolt together things and has no
ready means of attaching shelving etc.
I  plan to make it in panels that will bolt together in case I ever
decide to remove it from the property.
Thus, no concrete floor. It will sit on pads.

I build sheds with .60 treated lumber for foundations (ground
contact) 2 x 6 joists and 3/4" plywood for the floors. Last for a
long time and termites/carpenter ants won't eat the .060 wood. No
concrete truck/concrete finishers/floats/power trowel/forms required.

Look up all weather wood foundation

Perhaps Andrew's "shed" is really a garage?
