is cracked and the center armrest cover is bad, but it might not be

I will just take some decent photos and stick it on Craigslist. I’m thinking I 
am going to take some decent photos of that 300ce I picked up a couple of weeks 
ago and see if I can flip it real quick too. After I got it home I find the car 
interesting but don’t have a whole lot of interest in it.

Around here the donation charities don't want to take title to the cars in 
their own names, and they don't have dealer licenses, so they only auction cars 
to licensed dealers. 

You can only convey title if you are the named owner on the front of the title 
or if you are a licensed dealer.

I don't know who sells donation cars at Lansing, but they're always on approval 
and they have lofty expectations of their Mercedes. First one I saw was a W140 
S320, hit so hard in the rear that the back was bent down and it was buckled 
above the back wheels. I was stunned when the bidding hit $900, and even more 
stunned when I saw it at the next week's auction. 
They should have jumped all over that $900 bid. 
Furthermore, since the donation people don't have a dealer's license and they 
don't want to retitle the cars in the name of the charity before they sell 
them, all the donation cars are 'dealer only' bidding, so the idiots that bid 
on that S320 all had dealer licenses.

On Reserve = the same as any reserve price auction, except the buyer and seller 
can exchange counter offers after the non-sale. 
One time I was the winning bidder at $1500, seller countered $1800, I countered 
$1500, then next thing I knew it was relisted for next week. The next week 
somebody else (probably the same dealer who bid $1450 to my $1500 the week 
before) had the winning bid, reserve not met, at $1450 and it was sold. No idea 
if it sold for $1450, $1800, or something in between. Made me wish I'd kept 
bidding $1500 until the seller gave up and let me have it. 

On Approval = no matter how high the winning bid is, there's no sale unless the 
seller accepts the winning bid, or the buyer and seller come to some agreement 
after the seller rejects the winning bid.

Well I put in a prebid at $125 and was outbid this morning before the auction 
started. I upped by bid to $225 and was the winner before the auction started. 
I ended up high bidder so it does not seem like anybody bid on it at the live 
auction. It’s somewhat interesting to me as it is supposed low miles and might 
clean up nice, but not sure what I could flip it for.
