Our nanny pulled a shift or two at a nursing home to get an early place in
line. Her 50yo brother died of COVID last Fall, so she was highly motivated.
I received the first Pfizer before Christmas and the second a few weeks
Not very many people have had it twice. Very few. The antibodies do not
persist in many cases however, so something else seems to mediate
protection also. In other words, immunity may not be measured well or
completely by antibody levels.
They are saying one dose of vaccine is sufficient after
True, but people have been infected twice despite their antibodies. There
is talk about the efficacy of a single vaccination for those who have
already had a mild case/tested positive.

Is it a big deal to run an anti-body test? I've been wondering why we're just
bulk vaccinating and not testing to see if people already had antibodies. If
just about 29 million people have already had it that we know of and there are
a whole bunch of people that have had it and didn't know it,

Its a total cluster, vaccinating the oldest folks, particularly those in

The two doses are are the same, but the thinking is that you may have a
stronger immune response to the second one, because your system has been
primed by the first one to respond to the second one. So the second one may
cause more muscle aches etc.

I did not think the 1st shot and 2nd were different. Everything else I
have read says they are the same. Though I do think
