I decided to check the interior temp of my black car yesterday.  It was 100 
degrees in Wichita and my car was parked in the parking lot full sun from 1 pm 
to 5 pm.   I had a temp gauge in it.  It was 150 degrees!  AND this car has 
some light tint on the windows.

You could put white vinyl wrap on the parts you need to touch. Or the whole car

I got the pleasure of standing an overtime watch in the turbine building (steam 
plant side) of the old nuke plant. This is something I did almost daily for 25 
years but not so much in the last 7 years or so. Spending 10 hours in a 
building in which the ambient temperature is 127 degrees and anything you touch 
is hotter reminded me that I am getting old. I was able to keep up all day with 
the kids thanks, I believe, to my CrossFit-ing.I assure you I was sweating 
like a whore in church, but thanks to proper hydration, it was absolutely 
manageable.

'Need only one at lower, left corner of rear windshield.  Driver and left 
passenger door handles work well for moving along side of car.  Antennas on my 
previous cars (124 & 126), even when retracted, worked well to provide the 
additional reference point needed at this corner.

  You could find some with quick release triggers, and use them to walk your 
way down the car, then put them in the cart with you and reverse the process 
when you return to the car. I have never used them, but I imagine they would be 
strong, reliable, durable and versatile.

could be a bit hard to remove without damaging the paint.
