If getting work is your only problem try using the manual test
pages at
http://www.mersenne.org/ips/manualtests.html
It's not ideal but should work.

A couple of years ago I tried running the then-current version (18? 19?)
on a Win 95 486 and had a number of problems. George was gracious
enough to try to help, but even with his suggestions I couldn't get past
the problems and so gave up on it. The oldest machine I use now for
Prime95
I'm concerned that version 18 can only handle numbers up to 20 million, since I
am more-or-less stuck at version 18, since that is the last version available
for OS/2, which is my principle OS. (More specifically I run OS/2 about 95% of
the time on my laptop, and my personal desktop machine at ho
STRANGE!!! even today it was still getting 2250 but all of a sudden it
has a factor assignment. ?? like very strange.
