A few related questions:
1. How and where are the ask and answer dialogs called? Are the stack
names fixed in the engine (now that would be a bad idea) - or is it a script
in the IDE? If so can't we just rename these stacks and hack the script - so
we can have both IDEs open at the same

Surprisingly they are named Answer dialog and Ask dialog :-)
But the stack/file names are different, see below.

If the Finder window is closed during the installation there's no
problem. If anyone knows how to fix that, I'll implement it.

Hi,
There are one or two experts who tried this. It appears that closing
the Rev IDE and firing up the MC IDE isn't that much of a problem.
Closing the MC IDE and restarting the Rev IDE with all globals,
locals, properties and everything else in place is a big hassle.

Not as much as you might think.
You can of course create your own dialogs, as long as they are

OK - I am not sure yet what is NOT working, but a lot is. I have the Rev IDE
up and I can switch between the Rev and MC default menubars on OSX and
choose between Galaxy, Rev and MC script editors - so not sure yet what the
problem requiring two different installs is? I am sure I will find it :)

As Klaus mentioned, a MC license isn't required any more for engines
after version 2.7. So you should be able to use
