Dave: I have purchased two metal detectors from Ebay and both at reasonable prices. The Whites XLT (~$600) was not very effective at Gold Basin but my Fisher Gold Bug 2 ($500) was good. I found six small pieces at Gold Basin ranging from 10 g. to 20 g. I recommend the Gold Bug 2 for general

Greetings. I guess that you can call this sort of a want add, but I am kind of looking for a decent, used, and reasonably priced metal detector that I can purchase. I`ve been looking on eBay, but can`t remember what type or brand to look for. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!
