Why would you run a contest with 240 + responses and dump it on the list!
Why don't we just have auctions here, too? This is inappropraite use of
Art's forum, IMHO.

Dear meteorite dude,
Part of the purpose of the list is educational. There have been several
contests on the lists and all have been very fun and informative. I am not
advertising anything here so I do not see how this could be called spam.
The 240 responses were because several people entered

Thank you Adam. One last question: Do you want us
to send our answers via the List or in a private email?
Thank you for your patience,

Hello List,
I took Jeff's offer up and presented a picture and brief story
on the "rocks" that got me interested in meteorites. As you would find out they
turned out to be meteorwrongs...nice ones at that. The page is in one of his
information sections on his site. The link is below.
Well, as I am a beginning meteorite collector I don't have much of an idea
but I think they are:
1) Diogenite
2) Angrite
3) Howardite

Dear List, and wronger-collectors;
Very nice pictures of some very good looking wrongs. On the slag, I
have noticed recently that if it were suspected to be an iron meteorite
that it should have even attraction to the magnet across the
surface..minus some of the thick rust getting in the way.
Russ and List,
Very cool image. I have an image of a pallasite, tiled, as wallpaper on my
computer at work (our Judicial Circuit logo gets boring) so this will be
another welcomed image. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Great contest. Here are my guesses:

2. Eucrite (monomic breccia, highly shocked)
3. Eucrite (polymic breccia).
While most likely wrong, they at least should give something to
Great image Russ. Life must be going well.
However, I'd have thought that the Borg would have been more achondritic, or
at least stony-iron, meso probably.
I especially like the lens-flair artifacts! I guess we have not solved that
problem in the 24th century either.
