Not long after I first got into meteorites, the Carancas fall
happened. Meteorite hunters descended on the area - something
we are all familiar with now. Bob Haag went down there and
collected some very nice specimens. However, since then, we
never hear anything about Bob chasing

I sure envy his camera and a scale with the accuracy he either owns or
has access... if I had a camera with the zoom lens capability his has,
man, oh, man -- and that scale!
He states in his description the specimen has a total weight of 45.6 mg
( 11.7mg and 33.9mg ), or 45.6/1000 of a gram and
I think he misunderstood the local gold dealer and, based on the image,
meant to say grams instead of milligrams. But heck, what's 3 orders of
magnitude matter when a bazillion x zero (the value of the rock per gram) is
still zero.
