I have lost 2 shipments destined to the US in early and mid december. The other
way round two sendings from the US failed to reach me in Germany. Particularly
lamentable, because on of the sendings icluded a 19.00g and a 1.50g fragment of
the Norton County Aubrite.

some of the German members of this list might have noticed there has been a
fireball sighting in the Berlin area in February. The event lasted for about
five seconds and has also been recorded by a camera of the European Fireball
Network.
There have been a couple of newspaper and
measured e.g. the
cosmogenic radionuclides of the meteorites produced by these recent falls. I
absolutely doubt that the Swiss or French labs who worked on these stones
made up their results just to make them fit the newspaper reports and
eyewitness accounts.

the easiest way would be to use MapCreator or a similar customizing software
for topographical maps. There should be a test version obtainable. The programm

The Hmanis asked me to forward a follow up on their new irons including a
34kg specimen they had displayed at this year's Enisheim/France meteorite
fair. One of the new finds acquired from another dealer was kindly posted by
Michael Johnson as Rocks from Space Picture of
Greg, my full respect for your cares about the environment. But I doubt that
any ammonia reached the lower atmosphere.
Besides, if there is one gouvernment outfit that has had a major positive
impact on environmental protection in the past then its NASA.
