Unfortunately I'm not on location right now, but I'll have the info on
the PowerBook card tonight.
Thanks!

I have OBSD setup as my wireless router and it works perfectly! However
when I connect with my PowerBook, I start getting tons of output on the
console. The PowerBook does connect and it can use the network.

2.) If not can I send these messages to
I'm trying to setup an NFS share, and am getting horrible write
performance. Reads are fast as can be expected. I've searched the
archives and found several threads on the subject, but no resolutions.
I've tried all possible fstab options (that I know of) but none really
help with write. I'm
I've narrowed the problem down. I'm running an FTP server (vsftpd)
who's users home dir's are on an nfs share. If I run vstpd without
mounting the nfs share (and create a user with a valid home dir) I get
21MB/s uploads. If I copy a file from the OBSD box to a dir on the NFS
mount, I get 8MB/s.
Anyone else get these errors with the nfe driver? Not really sure what
to do to troubleshoot the problem. This seems to happen during heavy
traffic times.

Is that why /snapshots/packages/i386/ is not available? I'm probably
going to get yelled at for asking this, but I really don't know the
answer. I just upgraded to -current, if I can't use
/snapshots/packages/i386/ for installing packages, where should I
install from? Yes I ordered a 3.9 CD,
I think there is a . missing in gd-2.0.33p2 package?

I've done several RAQ2 installs, and have them in production as well. I
have a RAQ3 but could not get it to run anything but linux. I have
rebuilt it several times, but only succeeded with RH. I had to remove
the HD for this install, and I assume you could get OBSD installed in
the same way. I
I'm trying to setup pf to allow one machine on my network to play (and
even host) Age of Empires III.
I've tried a myrid of different settings in my pf.conf with the

That sounds like over heating to me. Have you tried powering of the
box
for an hour or so
I installed 3.8 on an 1855 with no problems about two weeks ago. All my
apps worked, and had no problems until I rebooted the box (not the first
reboot, and not because of an issue of any kind.) Upon reboot, it fails
to boot right away, with the now trying bsd.oldetc messages
finally booting
Just in case you don't know, scponly works great.
In our datacenter we need to give users access to ftp
but we also need a secure access. Since the users are not allowed to
gain SSH access we use the scponly solution.
I did not know that, and will look into this
I am implementing an FTP server and need it to use SSL/TLS. I
know ftpd doesn't support this, and was wondering if anyone had any
suggestions on an alternative. I know SFTP exists, but that is not
an
option, as the clients are not going to change. I know pure-ftpd
supports this, but
Gag is the way to go, easy to use and even looks pretty.
Subject: Re: GRUB's boot parameter
GAG [1] is a nice boot manager. It can boot a lot of OS's, including
OpenBSD. You should give it a try.
