I just installed the amd64 snapshot from 2009-08-05 on my Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop, and since packages are a little behind I tried to compile gimp from Ports. However, after about three hours of work I started seeing messages from bce(4) saying data error while downloading the distfiles.
