This is going to be the weirdest thing you heard all week but here goes.
Drop in a bootable cd (like windows) and boot. When it asks for you to
press the key to boot don't; just let it fall through and tada it boots
afterward (maybe).
I have an HP laptop that needs this trick.

There has been a huge uptick of ACPI failures on HP laptops. In order
to be able to fix this we need to play with one or two. A donation in
time for the c2k10 would be greatly appreciated. We need to have the
machine(s) in hand by the 25th or so.
Two models come to mind: HP4510s HP EliteBook

Hello!
I've tried pcc from OpenBSD 4.7-stable source tree.
When trying to compile a simple example:

I get:

I am wanting to set up a pretty basic mail server with postfix, and
figure that setting up a database backend is overkill.
All the most excellent docs I've found on the internet incorporate
mysql setup. Can someone link me to a guide that does this without
Mysql?

Hi,
I'm running 4.7/amd64 (release) on a server and client. The client has
his /home and a /mnt/_storage mounted via NFS from the server:
server:/export/home on /home type nfs (noatime, nodev, nosuid, v3, udp,
soft, intr, rdirplus, timeo=100)
server:/export/storage on /mnt/_storage type nfs
Thanks to everyone, snapshot from project site does its job.
Still are there any plans to make pcc available in base system or at
least in packages in some of the next releases?

Maybe if you're using lots of usb3s and a 16x graphics card etc, you may

I am not sure I like having a gaping hole in the kernel but maybe we can
do something before securelevel. I like it from a hacking perspective
