Isn't the default speed of serial console on the net4511 19200? or have
you changed it in the bios?

Well, it seems there are usb-serial converters, which do not support
19200

Just a stupid idea, but shouldn't you use ttyU0 instead of cuaU0?
I've always used cua as I'm dialing out to the machine on the end
Hi misc@,
I have just bought a usb to serial converter which is recognized as:
uftdi0 at uhub0 port 2
uftdi0: FTDI FT232R USB UART, rev 2.00/6.00, addr 2
ucom0 at uftdi0 portno 1
However when I try to connect using cu I don't get any output:
zaurus:fred /home/fred cu -l /dev/cuaU0 -s19200
example is given at
http://www.crowsons.net/puters/fcm.php which is for a Toshiba Libretto.

Hi Misc,
I keep getting the following error, when trying to mount a 2GB Sony
Memory Stick Pro Duo (MSX-M2GN) in my Sony T7 digital camera:
nike:fred /home/fred sudo mount /mnt/t7
mount_msdos: /dev/sd1i on /mnt/t7: Inappropriate file type or format
Can anyone help me debug this issue
not seeing where I need to go to troubleshoot. The USB subsystem has to be
initialized before ifconfig axe0, right?
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris,
My crystal ball is not working - but a dmesg(8) and the output of
usbdevs -dv might help.

Is there a way in OpenBSD to authenticate users without adding them to
/etc/master.passwd file?
I have an OpenBSD server with authpf enabled and login_ldap configured. I have
also a seperate
LDAP server. I can authenticate any user in OpenBSD by using this seperate LDAP
server if and only
if
!!!
Someone can help me?!
You've already been given two good hints - but a search of MARC would
have also produced:

put your local changes in /etc/resolv.conf.tail - thus when
resolv.conf is overwritten your local changes will be preserved.

After using adduser(8) to create an account, just add the following line
