I have overhauled the hardware compatibility page. It should now be way more useful to new users considering what hardware to buy. It is quite apparent that there are not many supported devices that are still commercially available. Changes: * condense OS compatibility information because most

Much of the hardware I removed from that list did not sell very much and is so old that it's not even available on eBay anymore. Some of them are not even meant for DJing (such as Korg controllers). I did keep some discontinued controllers from popular brands, namely Native Instruments and Rane

Hi, Some controllers have several different use cases. For example, the Allen & Heath Xone K2 (see picture) can be used as a 4-Fx controller, as a 4-deck mixer controller or as a 2 deck + 2-Fx controller. All of these are typical use cases. Mixxx should provide several different mappings for cont

Certified Mappings mean that the Mixxx core team owns one and personally QAs the quality of the preset before each release -- typically the manufacturer has provided a unit to us in this case. The distinction is important because a bunch of our MIDI mappings are incomplete or generally crappy and

Great idea! We should have multiple presets for flexible controllers, particularly the Xone K2, QuNeo, and MIDI Fighter. I'll think about alternate mappings for the Electrix Tweaker mapping I'm working on, but I think I'll be able squeeze everything I want into one mapping. Does the A&H Xone K2

I added a description column to the controller tables. For controllers that have Mixxx mappings, I think we should have descriptions of what the mappings do regardless of what the hardware was designed for. So, for controllers designed for 2 decks that have 4 deck mappings, the description coul
