I am on a vacation until Nov 6 and then have a couple other things to look into including the one you mentioned. So, it will not be 7 - 10 days. Yesterday, I set the GitHub milestone date for dec 12, but it will probably be sooner. [Mlt-devel] Next MLT release?
Hi Dan, all, We are approaching the dependency freeze for Kdenlive's 19.12 release and would very much like to have a new MLT release so that we can have the latest fixes and features. If possible, a fix for the luma compositing issue I mentionned here would be great: https://github.com/mltframework/mlt/commit/ 25cb58cd35812745571ce1062fdb6f5bd89a723b#diff-2470c5fc09e71ea19d149fed053952d8 Ideally if we could get the release in something like 7-10 days it would be perfect. Let me know if I can do something. Best regards, Jean-Baptiste ___ Mlt-devel mailing list Mlt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mlt-devel
Re: [Mlt-devel] Next mlt release
Not a developer , but probably a power user. Alas, I've searched the bug reports on bugs.kde.org without any real hit. As Debian Jessie was released in 2015-04 I presume that it shipped with Kdenlive 0.9.x and MLT 0.9.x; this also fits in with I was told on other bug reports. The bug report mentioned below references recent Kdenlive 16.04.2, but I cannot find a matching report on bugs.kde.org. Seems we haven't seen it there, unless is used some other title not including the keyword track. The crash as reported happens in filter_avcolour_space.c, while MLT tries to fetch a frame image ahead; at least that's my limited understanding. At the moment I don't see how this should be related to track-wise effects in Kdenlive. Could this be a more general problems with the particular library setup on Debian? Kdenlive track effects do work, as I've just done two or three projects using them, both audio (volume) as well as video effects, crop/pan in particular.
