2015-05-26 Thread Kiran Baug
Hi,

Ziomi can be updated back to stock android from the company itself.

I am having Nokia E5 with me currently and not able to do whatsup chat
in group and mails are getting delivered very late.

I want to purchase an android for the following objective.
1. Whats up for group chat for doing the projects.
2. Mail access at realtime.

Is the above applications are accessible via android?

I was suppose to purchase yesterday from Flipkart but had not gain the
confidence of using the touch screen and was not able to take

I was going for MOTO G due to stock android but i was loving more
XIOMI MI4i as it was coming of 11500.
The specification was

2 gb ram

I was getting at the cost of MOTO G.

There are lots of articles of instaling stock android in xiomi devices.
Is it easy to do?

I also know that your device warrentee does not get void if you root the device.

[Mobile.AI] Xiaomi phones are accessible!

2015-09-28 Thread Kiran Baug
Dear All,

I am happy to share the information about Xiaomi redmi 2 prime. I have
recently purchased it from Amazon and was not sure about it
accesibility.

I was surprised to see that MIUI OS is accessible. Accordingly to me
it is the most coolest OS and MIUI has created it keeping in mind all
kinds of person needs.

I have compared it with Micromax express2 which i have purchased one
month ago and i feel talkback is flying in Xiaomi redmi 2 prime.

Thanks and regards,
Kiran Baug.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Suggestion required to buy a phone in budget of 10k

2015-10-04 Thread Kiran Baug
Hi,

Go for Xiami redmi 2 prime
where you will get
snap dragon processer with 2 gb ram and 16 GB rom only at rs 7000.

About Xiaomi accessibility
-Xiaomi is far much accessible in all task
for example it reads out all the information on the notification bar
and infact it reads out the spead at which my YIFI is working.
-It reads out all the menus in the home screen without any problem.
-They have also a simplified versionof the home screen where the ikons
are very large and it is fully accessible.
-I am using its original home screen without any problem
-The quality of sound is excellent no hanging problems
-Best about the phone, it free from bloadware and its native apps is
sufficient as all are accesible such as music player, calender and
calculater and antivirus for security and also a call recorder many
more.
-Most important battery life is excellent.
I love about the phone the most is if i want to change the OS and want
to install cynogen mode i can do it without any issues as the rooting
of the phone does not void the warrenttee.

Thanks and regards,
Kiran Baug

[Mobile.AI] Apple or android

2016-03-28 Thread Kiran Baug
Dear Folks,

I know the above topic is quite old and i will get information on net
but still lot of enhancement happened in android and apple so i
thought to ask all the android users and apple users to suggest which
phones are most accessible.
1. Is all phones are 100% accessible in apple?
2. Do one can use all the productivity apps in apple?
3. Does android latest version productivity apps are accessible?
4. For which phone one should go for in terms of best features and
accessibility?

Please suggest as i want to use phone for office purpose

Thanks and regards,
Kiran Baug

2016-03-29 Thread Kiran Baug
Dear Mohib,

Thanks for your valuable suggestions.

I am looking for phone which help me in below scenarios.
1. Calendar where in google i am not able access time for a day and
unable to schedule events accordingly.
2. When i am outside home i feel very uneasy to call if needed as it
requires me to type in my contacts and search the name and dial.
3. I am happy reading pdf files in android but i don't know about
apple how it feels or it is accessible or not.
4. I am trying to use google maps but i am not getting success in it
as i requires lot of travel in my work. I want to know apple will be
able to help in the above scenario or not.
5. I am unable to read all mail in my default google mail app .
6. internet browsing also sometimes gets difficult as talkback stops speaking.

I would also like to know what kind of challenges does apple users
face while using the phone so that i can take informed decision.

Hi,

You can go for MOTO G phones such as MOTO Turbo or MOTO g4+ etc.

All other phones you will find some or the other accessibility problem

[Mobile.AI] Redmi 2 prime and CM 13

2016-09-22 Thread Kiran Baug
Hi all,

Sharing my experience of using CM13 in redmi2 prime.

I am using redmi2 prime from last 1 year. Last week i decided to
install CM13 in my redmi2 prime and I was able to install it
successfully.

Good thing that it is official CM13 with google stock android skin on
it. I will receive updates periodically

Pros
1. 95% of the phone is accessible. I have not seen yet any part inaccessible.
2. Camera is accessible wherein MIUI it is not accessible.
3. I can pickup calls and power off or reboot system easily which was
difficult in MIUI
4. Okay google is working as expected wherein in MIUI okay google is
not enabled by MIUI itself.
5. Now in case of swiping right and left for reading whats up msgs or
any txt on internet it reads out exact next line and does not jump
somewhere else
6. Now talkback does not get dismissed in case of single tapping for
closing all application. It is also much more easier in case of
dismissing single application.

Cons
1. I am missing MIUI simple interface wherein systems apps are in
specific folders.
2. I am not able to create folders inside app drawer and all apps are scattered
3. I am missing call recorder of MIUI as it is not available in CM13
4. Sound recorder is not accessible.

Thanks and regards,
Kiran Baug

Hi Austin,

It is very difficult to pickup calls by touching on screen. I didn't
used any app yet.

I use to pickup calls with help of wired earphones with pickup button
and bluetooth headphones. Note all headphones need not act in same
way. So you need to cross check and purchase.

I recommend you to install official CM13 ROM or there is also official
Nexes experience ROM available which is the most stable ROM.
After installing CM13, i am able to experience the full potential of my phone.

Regards,
Kiran.

64 gigs is to costly.

Card reader or flash drive are available for I phones. Is it worth?

Can we not manage our data using external card reader or flash drive?

Hi

I am using MI power bank.

It has a power on and off button and don't think any accessibility
featured required.

regards,
Kiran.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Regarding Apple I Phone 5

2017-01-21 Thread Kiran Baug
Hi,

Recommend you to not to purchase Apple Iphone 5s.

Some of the reasons are
1. Ram, processor speed, and 16 GB space is not sufficient.
2. 2. If you are in assumption that 16 GB is enough then sorry. If you
use few social apps like whatsup, facebook, and some 1 or 2 more your
memory will get full.
3. 3. You will not able to transfer media files from phone to laptop
or vise versa very easily. For example, you will be not able to
transfer PDF files from phone to computer or vise versa.
4. You need to choose which music files or photos or apps you need for
managing space in your phone and go crazy.
5. No space for games or video series.
On the other hand I will suggest you to go for Samsung J7 prime at
same budget range or go for higher specification phone in apple.

Best regards,
Kiran
