I wonder if it be better then to try an earlier version of OpenSSL? I will
do the code hack but... if I comment out that code what ripple effect is
possible?

Well I believe I have found something with the latest apache 1.3.12.

Finally I tried a precompiled binary, Apache 1.3.6 and it worked jeeest
peachy. I noticed I didn't get a warning with the cold fusion module. The
1.3.12 version complains cold fusion

I've just installed modssl and it works okey, but first time
I access a ssl page then Inernet Explorer pops up with
a Security alert and I have to click on Yes to proceed.
Is there a way to fix this "problem" ?

We have a patch that adds OCSP checking to client-side certs for mod_ssl.
It has some client code, and additions to OpenSSL to parse the data
structures. We're in the process of upgrading to the current OpenSSL
release. With the change in US export regulations, we would like to

Weee I'm open to suggestions. I'm going to try to build a 1.3.6 full
version. The 1.3.9 I built waaayyy early this morning kept saying it
couldn't generate a 512k rsa private key, even thos SSRandomSeed was set to

Earlier this week I tracked down this problem with the browsers hanging
(on Win32). It
