Hello everyone!
I just listed a Mint / C10 (yes, it is really that pristine!) Japanese B2 for The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
It is absolutely flawless - perfect edges, no tears, no creases (apart
from the ultra-slight standard storage creases, which are considered
the same as factory folds on

Just wanted to let everyone know that eBay, in its infinite wisdom, pulled my auction this morning,as they thought that I was trying to avoid paying eBay fees by charging $40 for shipping, which is about the norm for a poster shipped overnight or two-day FedEx in a five pound, 2 PVC tube with PVC
Y'all,
Of course, this isn't the first time Rixposterz had pulled
this stunt, but since he went out of his way to really push this one in our
face, how about a show of hands? Let's see how many people -- when suckered into
looking at a foreign-language poster because the seller
Rick Ryan is not a jerk. I've bought many things from him. He's not trying to sucker anyone here. I can lookat his listings and see if what he's listing is Spanish language or an Australian daybill. Maybe he could saySpanish language in a subheading, but toning down the rhetoric here would be
I've had Rixposterz blocked for over a year for this very reason.

Hi,
I may have my faults, but I don't resort to the level of
name-calling.I've been collecting and dealing in posters for 30
years. Never called anyone a derogatory name in public in all that
time. J.R.--whomever he might be-actslike he

Kirby,
Well, that's the point of asking for a show of hands... topoll public
opinion on thismarketing technique which Rick has been using more and more
often of late on this list. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but *anyone* -- no

All,
Life is kind of short to make fellow collectors uncomfortable. Tim Hildebrandt just passed away (which reinforces how short our lives are) and I am sure there are plenty of people who would appreciate the art on the poster. There

Howdy All,
Dont really get why, in a listing title, a seller must state if its not a (god almighty) American poster.
Most people in the world arent American.
Most movies in the world aren't American.
And Id hazard a guess
Most posters in
I am a great believer in the use of the English language as it can
be very persuasive in getting one's point across while at the same time,
improper use can cause the reverse effect. Adjectives such as "jerk"
inflame without really making the necessary point. I believe that had such

This guy Rick can't win.
People have asked for direct links to auction items to save
them time. That's what he did, for an item that (heaven forbid) isn't a US
language one sheet.
So he used BOLD. BFD.
So he paid eBay for the use of BOLD and that's why his link
was bold. BFD.
Not all
Personally, I believe this problem is more eBay's doing than
any particular seller (if I had a nickel for every time I saw a seller - other
than Rick -pull that scheme...). If eBay would ever enforce the
rules that would improve their system (and not just the rules thatimprove

Dear Phil
I am more grown up than you will ever be and let's now cut to the
chase. I have spent a great deal of my life looking for posters and I
detest people using a ruse to try to entice me to buy something I don't want,
while wasting my time.
For your little mind to understand what I
Oh, Claude, come on, man! If you have only 20 minutes a day to look at listings, how do youmanage to look at thousands of listings each week? I couldn't do that, and I'm pretty fast. And Philis, I know, a full grown and genial adult, and one of the most responsible people on this list. Now you
Ron is changing e-mail addresses right now, and he has e-mailed me
and asked me to post this for him. -K.
Hi all!
I have to agree with Phil and Kirby on this one. Rick Ryan is about
as far removed from being ajerk as he can possibly be. He's
actually one of the really good guys in the
Phil,
Did you read what I wrote at all? I am complaining that Rick regularly and
consistently fails to note in his "headlines" that a poster isthe
non-English language version. He does this on purpose and it is deceiving
because he know a lot of people won't look at a listing if it states
