Thanks to Bruce for weighing in on this matter.
Since a few days have passed, I also feel it is fair to open this discussion.
Personally, I have no doubt that the 'minty white' inserts are
reproductions, and that they were made long after the original
release.

Instead of getting people opinions on these inserts, isn't there some
way to find out the actual story? I'm just asking -- I haven't really
followed on this but someone out there must know the REALITY of the
situation.

I have been dubious about the minty white inserts for a long time,
but I don't KNOW.
I would certainly not buy one knowingly with the intention of
reselling it. I am in the reselling business,

MRS MINIVER was released in the US, on June 4, 1942 in NY, and on

December 17, 1942. it would only make sense that MINIVER was released
first if the poster text for HARVEST said, from the producers of MRS
Hey Bruce/Mopo:
Well, there's no question they're fakes. If they were real, all these guys
would have to do is publicly display ONE SINGLE insert that came from a
theatre. One insert that is from the same print-run as the 'minty whites'.
Just one. Prove that ONE of them existed 30 years
Oh yeah, I never actually worked at an NSS warehouse before, but I think a
couple people on here did, so I'd love to hear them chime in. But, I've

I think you underestimate yourself, Bruce. With all of your resources
in the movie poster world, I have no doubt that at some point, sooner
or later, you'll have a definitive answer. As to my opinion, whatever
that is worth, they look like fakes to me. Someone once said if it's

I think they are clearly repro's of some sort and would not touch one

Okay I don't know how many Mopo'ers were regular viewers of

West Coast airing many time both) since its first HBO airing. When between
seasons I turned into a relentless channel switcher looking

I'm not so sure, Freeman. Were the familiar hit men you say are
familiar seen in some other context previously? Or were they FBI tails?
The ending is ambiguous and brilliant because of it. Either way -- the
family has been gelded.
Personally I thought the finale was terrible. They wasted half the show

Do not continue if you haven't seen the finale.
David regarding whack or no whackthe main point I was making was
Chase left it shockingly ambiguous. That was what was spellbinding to me. I
think personally it was a race to the finish for Tony's life, either dead
or alive but
Oh no, Freeman, I agree. And wasn't it great? With regard to whether the
FBI had the ability to intercept, that too, is up for debate.
** But it's pretty clear that by the time we reach the ending, everyone
knows that w/the popping of rival gang leader Phil -- that Tony's enemies

And let's not forget another reason why the Sopranos was great. It left us
with 86 shows since 1999 -- and in my view, only about 20 of 'em could be
called duds (and even those have to be qualified because they weren't
total stinkers). Its detractors rightly were disgusted by the language and
hi all,
im a fairly new mopo'er... why are TV shows being discussed here? is
this common practice to vere SO far off the topic in the public
forum? wouldn't it be better if these discussions/emails were done
between listers--privately-- that wanted or cared about these shows
or topics?
I agree.
The ending was, in my opinion, the T.S. Eliot ending: not with a
bang but a whimper.
We loved it.

MOPO has allowed some off topic stuff - and occasionally we've gotten
