Hi from Joe Bonelli (aka Hastings) in New Orleans,
Thanks to Jeff for getting all these movie people out of the closet, so to
speak.
I happen to be a sxty-three year old, out-of-work actor with an IMDB page
crediting me correctly with a speaking role in the late, lamented Masterpiece
I started as an actress under Stella Adler and still dabble in it. I've worked
Off-Bwy, on films, and tv. I studied writing under mentors Nelson Gidding and
Frank Daniel at USC. I'm currently in the business.

Hell, I was an extra in Roger Spottiswoode's Hiroshima (I was an unnamed US
Army Air Force colonel and got to wear a spiffy WW II era uniform). Though
that's not the way I usually put it, I usually say I worked with Roger, don't
you know. Technically it's true...
Other than that, all my media
I forgot my roots in poster collecting.
For about eight years, while still in school, I worked in film exhibition and
advertising.
That is, I ushered at a theater and changed the marquee (and stole the
posters when I changed them...statute of limitations has run).
But what I
I do not work in the film industry currently, though I am trying to get

Write a dumb script about a shaggy dog that speaks with the
voice of Paris Hilton. Don't forget to make it dumb. Some dumb

Here you go, Jeff!
Here are the high spots!
Went pro collecting posters in 1957 at age 9 with insert from I WAS A
TEENAGE WEREWOLF.
20 years later, wrote first book on sci-fi and horror posters as an art
form - came out in 1977 - SCIENCE-FICTION AND HORROR MOVIE POSTERS IN
FULL COVER - DOVER
I've never worked in the MOVIE industry, outside of some extra work on
the Silk Stalkings TV series and a couple of really crappy films when
I first moved to the San Diego area in 1993. I made several music videos
back in my rock star days, and appeared on all the big music shows,

Well ...as long as you asked.
After the Trust Busters broke up the MGM ,Paramount and Warner Theatre's.
Many theatre's were owned by small time exhibitors. They might own anywhere
from 2 to 15 theatres in towns ranging from 5000 to 20,000. My dad was the

I wrote that exact script last week. It's titled Bark Like a Cow, and
now that Paris is out of the slammer, we can get down to business. She
and I have formed a company called Brains of a Soapdish Productions and

But wouldn't you truly get to direct if you were the judge?
You might enjoy that...
