Here you go, Jeff!
Here are the high spots!

Went pro collecting posters in 1957 at age 9 with insert from I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF. 20 years later, wrote first book on sci-fi and horror posters as an art form - came out in 1977 - SCIENCE-FICTION AND HORROR MOVIE POSTERS IN FULL COVER - DOVER PUBLICATIONS - Was intro to collecting these posters for many old time collectors.
Masters Degree in Film at Chapel Hill -
Film Editor, Asst Camera, Sound, Post Prod. Coordinator - high budget Commercials Starred in own local CBS live-comedy TV show in North Carolina for 2 years (beat Carson in the ratings!).
Wrote Owensby's first film, CHALLENGE.
Worked production on most of early films in South in 1970's including THE BODY SHOP - Pat Patterson gore film. Quit film work and my own show and came to Hollywood when I saw Star Wars to make sci-fi movies, too.
Wrote ad copy for movie posters to make a living.
Wrote, Produced one of first HBO specials - MONSTERS, MADMEN AND MACHINES - starring Gil Girard - history using clips. Wrote children's animation, pilots, tv - won comedy writing award for ALL IN THE FAMILY script. Member Groundlings improv group - worked with Pee-Wee and Elvira (she was great pal in those days and very, very funny). Hooked up with Charlie Band - wrote and produced several films including (2) 3D movies -
(What a treat watching dailies in 3D!)
Wrote Parasite 3D which was (Demi Moore's first starring role - she was 18 when I met her - used to go dancing with her at Madame Wongs on Sunset -(would she return my call, now - I don't think so!) - early Stan Winston effort, too. Wrote Concrete Jungle (my women's prison opus), Metalstorm 3D (also produced - sorry for this one, folks), Alchemist, created Trancers (but sold out to get shed of Band) and more. (One of my great joys was designing and developing copy and art for posters for my own films!) All in I sold maybe a dozen screenplays and had 5 produced bearing my name. Wrote more odd stuff culminating in Star Trek: Next Gen episode - "The Loss" Went to Fox for a six week gig as Toy Consultant ( I also collect toys) on TOYS and ended up staying there 10 years - Founded Fox Archives, their poster collection, still collection, and saved research. As Exec. Director of Fox Archives I travelled the world as their emissary looking for lost Fox goodies in international closets and promoting silent film - Curated Fox's first museum - HALL OF COOL STUFF - in Australia - with 5.5 million dollars worth of props, art, wardrobe I took out of their trash! Left Fox and am now writing again and selling posters (as I have all my life) to keep world off my back. Have interest in an Edgar Rice Burroughs adaptation I've done and have just finished my first novel - NIGHT AND THE CAT A noir thriller set in 1945 Los Angeles that came to me in a black and white dream starring Bogart and Robinson (a trip!)
Just started a new novel about the magic and myth of the movies.
Will never get posters out of my blood.
There you go, Jeff.
That's the best of it!
