Never seen that. And I've kept my eyes open for these giant posters for many
years.
Seeing something that you haven't seen before that is really good is a gas!

David, that is magnificent. There's a seller on ebay who sells Bullitt
pressbook inserts (featuring the 24-sheet in bw) stating that there are no
surviving copies of the 24-sheet. He may have to amend his patter. Great
find, Neil
PS Another recent great find was this English 3sheet for

These can be very difficult to find in any condition! A long time can go by
without one of these coming up for sale. You will have trouble finding a
nicer one.

It's fun to make a pronoucement that there is NO SURVIVING COPY of something or
other, but time and experience have proved 99.9% of these pronouncements
incorrect. No KNOWN copies perhaps.
But it is a very big world, and a big industry and there are lots of places for
stuff to be lying down.
Yes I tend to agree with that, although it's anyone's guess what' s actually
out there. I do think mostly down to the idiosyncratic nature of the British
makeup that there is more to come on Hitchcock paper pre-war; hoarders, rich
aristocrats with mansions full of stuff they know nothing
Yes, there are people that display that size.
There are also people who are simply collectors with an interest in anything on
a given title.
This poster looks a little wider than most 24 sheets I have encountered.
I have seen these posters referred to as poster panels. Obviously they are

When it comes to 'regular' poster sizes, I fully agree with Kirby. The only
other US size I can think of that might be even rarer is the Subway Window
Card. Unlike 'regular' subway posters, which at least had full (or even double)
poster size and may have stood a chance to be distributed
I fall a little bit into the latter category Kirby, and am still looking for a
24-sheet on Godzilla*.
If found I probably would display at least part of it.

advertised having one of these, so I am holding out hope that it
You're talking about a poster that's 9 feet high and 20 feet wide. I've had
several linen-backed and they ship at about 60 pounds. And handling one of
these posters freshly linen backed is challenging because it's easy to crease
the backing just from the sheer weight of the poster you are
At first glance this looks like a complete poster. It is not. There are 4
smaller pieces missing across the top, each one should be approximately 19
x 60. The 8 existing pieces are each slightly larger than 40 x 60.
