I ask this for several reasons. Obviously demand and supply create the value.
But why do we all demand certain posters?
Is it the artwork? The movie? The Artist? Or is It simply because other people
have deemed the poster valuable?
Example:
Why is the movie poster Harvey worth more then 12

I received my '60 Psycho one sheet in the mail today. The sender used a bubble
envelope and simply slid the poster into it. No cardboard, no plastic bag,
nothing. Didn't even write fragile on the envelope. He just folded up the
poster and stuck it in an envelope.
Luckily it arrived un-damaged.
I'm noticing that people are using extremely long names for their eBay

I left the hobby in 2004 and recently returned. I was an avid eBay
buyer/seller. From my experience I can say that a few posters have greatly gone
up in value since I left:
Jaws (these used to go for $75-$100)
Night of the living dead
Good, Bad, and the ugly ($150 easy)
Cool hand luke ($300-$350
I have two mint unused Dragstrip Riot's and I'm looking to trade for one. If
your interested let me know.

I think this auction is incredibly sad and I don't understand why more
collectors don't feel the same.
This collection will probably end up in the hands on an investor who will bury
it in a vault never to be seen again. Or at least for decades to come.
This collection should have been sold

Why isn't there a dedicated web page to Halloween one-sheet forgeries?
