Julie Harris, star of East of Eden (1955) and the The Haunting (1963)
has died at age 87. A personal favorite (and guilty pleasure): Home for the
Holidays, a nifty little TV thriller made for the ABC Movie of the Week
in 1972. Julie Harris co-stars with Sally Field, Jessica Walter, Eleanor

I thought so much of Julie Harris. It saddened me greatly that she passed
away. It is good to see East Of Eden coming out in the next few months on
the Blu Ray format along with Rebel and
That girl plays Joan with the hand of God.

I saw Ms. Harris in, The Glass Menagerie, and waited over an hour to
speak to her. They finally told me she had been gone all that time.
