It is certainly an amazing collection but is it actually the “World’s largest
Collection of Movie Posters”? I would be interested if members of MoPo might
have some thoughts on this. Obviously, quality should be taken into account but
there certainly are some huge collections of movie posters

The Heritage November Signature Vintage Poster Auction is this coming Saturday
and Sunday,
November
Having witnessed the collection in the flesh as such I don't think I'd argue on
the size - as Morrie says at least one item from every film - that says a lot!

I think there is a difference between largest and most complete. There might be
bigger piles of paper out there - but nothing as complete as what Morris has
carefully collected over the years. Its an incredibily impressive achievement.

Cory made a good point - yes there may be collections bigger but complete - and
that covers largest collections of titles in the colection.
It truly is impressive. I hope he does well as it is quite an amazing
collection - I'd hate to list it all!

Mopos and Morrie-ites
Have a fun story that I always remember whenever Morrie’s name is mentioned.
About 25 years ago, my wife and I were traveling blue highways from west coast

We stopped at every junk shop we saw and
What a great story and what a wonderful collection Morris has. I've been

years.
As much fun as I've had completing my Best Picture collection, and dabbling

One thing I can say about Morrie is that he’s the real McCoy.
A collector’s collector and a great guy.
Whatever millions come to him, good for him.
I hope he has a great time spending the money

A major motivation for collecting movie posters has to be an appreciation of

The art market isn't driven by any equivalent love of art, but a passion for

Yes, this is kind of what I thought that it was a gimmick. That's a pretty
