A brief 45 minute walk around this park at 6:00 PM tonight produced 39 species. !0 warbler species ( several Magnolia) plus a great look at a Wood Thrush on the west side that parallels Schaefer Road. Bredeson Park is on the north side of the Crosstown Highway and Gleason Road exit in Edina.

The Purgatory Creek Wetland mudflats in Eden Prairie, Hennepin County have attracted shorebirds. There were 12 Short-billed Dowitchers, Stilt and White-rumped Sandpiper, Least and Semipalmated and both Yellowlegs. Shorebirds were moving around the wetland in and out of range to see clearly.
