I was at St. Johns University in what I belive what they call their game refuge
(the gate for it is near the prep school) yesterday and had two coopertive

Out and about for work this week I had some FOY birds of note.
Polk County- Yesterday, a rather large mixed flock of lapland longspurs and
snow buntings 200+ just south of TNC Malmberg Prairie by the beet piles and a
Rough Legged Hawk along Highway 2 right as you get to Glacial
Had a Raven, Loggerhead Shrike and Western Kingbird yesterday.

Did a little birding yesterday around Buffalo River state park. Had an adult
Golden Eagle soaring right at the entrance to the park. Nothing else out of the
ordinary. Recorded many FOY birds. Waterfowl have finally begun moving through

moved about a mile WEST of Clay County Road 11 along 190th Ave. It was right at
the spot where the road narrows due to snow and was on a power pole. I snapped
