Do we really need byte reservoir when using vbr?
I'd like to hear opinions about it from various people, as I can't choose
the answer myself. I've got pros and cons about it in my head

My opinion was that it should be turned off, at least as much as
possible.
Right now, LAME tries
I was thinking about completely remove it when VBR
