land use planning in Minneapolis have long been topics of interest to me. I
don't think we've improved anything. I love NRP for the engagement and
creativity it has brought to city government, but I've always had proble

Wizard has the high ground here and I applaud her incisive commentary. I've
repeatedly warned R.T. in face-to-face conversations and in writing at one
remove here on Minneapolis Issues that the turn away from NRP and the
establishment of CPED were/are recidivist gestures.
Now I understand why the

Thank you Dean!
Speaking of special interests and such has jogged my old memory.
Wasn't the only veto of the entire four years of the RT Rybak administration
the attempt by Rybak to veto the City Council NOT giving special

Sorry, Mr. Clegg, it appears that Peter McClaughlin has already staked

I think Jim Graham's memory is playing tricks on him.
In 2001, none of the mayoral candidates were talking about adding cops or

Gee, you sound a whole lot like RT Rybak back in 2001. It worked for him,

resurrection of the 2001 RT.

Dear Barry:
You forgot to promise lower taxes with more City services of higher quality.

It's apparent from what's currently happening in this mayoral campaign how easy
it is for challengers to bash the incumbent, promise everything, and spend
nothing. So, of course, I've decided to get in on the action too!
