Hi,
I recently bought a FMPAC from somebody but the sound is distorted. I've
tried changing the "loudness" switch in all positible positions but even at
the setting that gives the lowest output level the sound gets distorted very
quickly (as soon as the sound gets 'busier'). The FMPAC has a
Hmmm...
What do you mean with distorted?? Nah in any case.. If you have a
NMS8250/80, try putting an SCC in one slot... That should solve the problem.
You see Philips forgot to build in a resistor... The problem can also be
solved by putting a resistor on PIN49 of the FMPAC (Sound Output)
No... You have to use a resistor on PIN49.. But try an SCC, it works!
really!
mzl.
d-fader...
Hi,
I have a NMS8250 With distorted I mean that it sounds like a speaker
that's overpowered but in this case even with a low loudness level
If I would remove pin 49.. Would the FMPAC
Hi,
I'll give the SCC option a try then. If it works I'll make the modification.
If I would put a resistor on PIN49, how would I need to connect it ? Can I
simply put 'any' resistor on 'pin 49' of the 'connector' ? Do I have to make
the 'resistor' the only way the signal can pass by 'cutting'

I have uploaded after a lot of work the circuit diagrams made by Ascii for

For the MSX driver I'm writing for MESS I'd like to add all the different
versions of the MSX1. Does someone have bios dumps of the us and french
versions?
Also I'm looking for the keyboard layout of the Korean and the brazillian
version.
Any help here would be much appreciated!
