I just downloaded openobex 1.0.1, configure'd with --prefix=/usr, make,
make install, run configure in irmc plugin directory no errors, built it
with make and installed it. I have no way of testing it, but it looks
file to me.

I'm having problems compiling the irmc plugin. It says that openobex isn't
installed. But I've got openobex 1.0.1 installed and obexftp 0.10.8_9 works
fine!
The last bit of the ./configure output ends:
