I do this in the Android version, in the Starred View. Is there a way to do
this in the Desktop version? I'm sure I am missing something obvious!
Thanks.

I am used to pressing Alt-Shift-Left and Alt-Shift-Right, and the
corresponding Up and Down keys for moving tasks around my outline, but
recently I have moved to a new laptop with an additional monitor. These
keystroke make the external monitor image rotate, and I have a devil of a
job
So I'm guessing that there's still not gonna be any calendar support?

Good evening,
unfortunately I had a very unpleasant problem with MLO:
Trying to learn more about the program, I saved my own file and opened a
blank new file to test some stuff that I read up in the manual.
There I detected that all (!) my conditional formatting was reset. I am
*certain* I did
I think probably the settings are saved with the data file, rather than for
all of MLO. Did you try re-opening your old file, I presume, and it didn't
work? Anyway, look in the directory that your data file is stored in, and
there should be files with the extension .bak. Move them to a new name
Thank you so much, I was successful! In
the backup folder I found three current files and I picked the one
with the timestamp from around when it happened and the formatting
came back. A little surprising that it is stored within the data
file. That is why I did
I have the same issue with the body of the email all jumbled. I will send
a test with the TBE DEBUG in the subject.

I have just begun to evaluate MLO and would like to ask how does anyone
adds notes on recurring tasks?
I set up an initial task and set it to recur every week on Sunday.
When the first recurrence hits, I don't see where I would put
notes/thoughts/concerns to update that week's task?
There is a checkbox where you can choose whether to create completed copies
of an event, and if you are looking to archive the past tasks, you can
leave this checked, and then edit the completed task. So if you edit the
active task, complete it to make a copy, then you can edit the active

MLO just crashed on my three times when I tried to send a test mail - I
am certain the server settings are correct though, since I took them
directly from my mail program.
Is there some kind of a debug log I could retrieve and send it to help
with the issue?
And many thanks again LISA for the
I was wondering this too since there hasn't been a mention or screenprint
of it. According to the uservoice
http://mlo.uservoice.com/forums/9235-generalforums, Calendar support and
auto-syncing were two of the highest requests and the two that were marked
as being planned for implementation.
YES! Exactly the same that I tried --
my port is definately set to 465 and it must be open otherwise
this email program I use now could not send files. The dialog box
hangs forever and the only remedy is to close the entire process
of MLO.exe.

Brienne,
there is a useful autohotkey script collection, you can download it at

Thank you, Jon!

Laurence,
My colleague at work has the same problem. I found a setting in the
graphics card driver software to disable the monitor rotating. I suggest to
search for this setting and to disable it if you don't use the rotating
feature.
There are hotkeys in MLO. You can reassign different keys
Has anyone an idea for this?

I have got the same problem.
My email is on gmail.com, I've tried to use 587 and 465 port for smtp

MLO for Windows is hanging out when I attempt to sent test message.

Laurence,
in MLO Desktop normally you can edit mutliple items at the same time by
selection them (using Ctrl + click or shift - arrow down/arrow up) and
then clicking in the properties pane. This does not work for every setting.
I tried to select 3 tasks and then click the star in the star
This (change star on multiple selected tasks) is something I'd like to see
fixed in the desktop version too.

Hi,
I find bookmarks very useful to quickly navigate in the outline. In the
move dialog these self defined bookmarks are not useable yet. But the
hotkeys for collapse all (F6)/expand all (F7) are working, this is fine.
So my feature request is to make the bookmarks working in the move dialog
