Ok, I added a task yesterday in the evening on Android in the app and left
overnight. Now, after 12 hours, the task is still present only on Android
and the sync icon says local data needs syncing but it won't sync. What's
going on? Am I the only person it doesn't work for? In Mlo for android I
HI Dwight,
Thank you for your involvment.
Pc syncs well. Almost immediately after I had tapped cloud icon on Android,
the tasks showed in MLO for PC. No problem there.
I don't demand immediate sync. In my case it takes hours from the moment I
added tasks on phone to the moment I check on Pc.
Hi Guys,
After 2 years since version 2 for Android was announced as "soon" it
finally has come to being. Ono of most anticipated feature was fully
automatic sync. I'm really baffled to see that it's not working any better
than it did in ver. 1. When I create new task on Android from widget, it
Hi Dmitry,
I won't believe that, no. This was probably most requested feature they
must have done it right. Does it sync automatically for you guys?

The way you described it worked in previous version (ver 1.x), this time it
was supposed to be fully automatic sync. Seamless if you will.

The same thought came to me - long awaited MLO 2.0 for Android was promised
by mid-November and as far as I know mid-November has past already. Don't
fail your users once more MLO team!

Hi Dwight,
Actually I didn't realize that local file wasn't the same thing as cloud
file. I thought I could e.g. switch the pc to new one and all my settings
and views etc. would be restored from the cloud. However, as describe it
above I was wrong.
By reistalation I meant migrating to
OK, I've gone through manual once more and found out that one can
export/import views. Probably the reason why I've ended up with no custom
views after MLO reistalation is that I didn't export them thinking they get
synced to main MLO profile file (and they don't, right?). Am I getting it
Hi Guys,
I had a bunch of custom views and tabs based on them in my previous set-up
but after reinstaling Windows/MLO those were not restored from my profile
(do they sync to file at all?). Is there a way to get them back?
Besides, every time I reinstal MLO and restore my profile I'm getting

- rich text support in notes

It was my general opinion about software development pace at MLO. It refers
to both bringing new features as well as fixing the old ones. Please don't

Great news! I'm really counting days to see it working.
What I'd like to see first is fully automatic sync and properly working
location-based reminders. These 2 are a must-have to me. I definitely will
still be a bit disappointed seeing one of them not working in the way it's

Thank you for your feedback!
If you could take your iPad out and check it, I would be extremly

as stated in the title - when I'm moving task (which is a part of project

Hi Everyone,
As an android user eagerly waiting to see new MLO for Android app, I have
few questions about new MLO for iPhone v.2 app (as I suppose Android
version will be very much alike). Particularly I'm interested in:
- if sync through official MLO sync service works really flawlessly.
Hi,
How can I get rid of MLO for Android asking to select mlo file to open
while openning the app? It's especially annoying because I'm trying to
create the auto-sync using tasker (there is a appropriate topic somewhere
on this forum). Most often when MLO starts, it asks me to select the
I've tested another bunch of comments and got another bunch of errors...
For example parsing fails when I use polish letters in the name of the task
(though MLO is said to support Polish and elsewhere it does).
Other thing - why this doesn't work?

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the answer. The way I see it is very simple - the number should
indicate how many tasks is populated in particular view. If you set your

a pretty meaningless number. It'd be up to you. It only should

For me 'Included contexts' also turned out to be a disappointment. I

Hi,
One of the nicest features that came with MLO4 was tabs. I must say I use

like to be able to see a kind of counter of active tasks that remain in
particular tab. F.e. there are tabs I don't check everyday and I

Hi. I've lately discovered Rapid Task Entry and I must say it's very useful
(I used to add tasks directly in outline view). I'm not always satisfied
new tasks go directly to inbox. I know it's GTD principle and it makes
perfect sense since inbox is where incoming tasks should go, but sometimes
nearby tasks at the time I

Probably you are right and nothing will happen due to lack of interest.
Does it make any sense to set up new topic at user voice?

Hi,
I've been using MLO for almost a year now. Must admit it is really good
piece of software. But it has its drawbacks. For example I can't figure out
how to handle location based notifications. I added few contexts and
assigned their coordinates to them. also checked ‘notify me when I
really like the
'nearby' display and the map view.
I'd love to hear from other users of Nearby about their experiences.

In my opinion, I don't need separete Android phone and tablet versions. Two

But there's an important point in original post - the usage of PCs has been

Thanks to all of you for answers. I really apreciate this.
I must admit I thought about advanced filtering to achieve desired effect
