I use WiFi sync and, yes, you have to re-enter the WiFi address in the sync
settings of the mobile copy of MLO, each time you connect to a new network
(or if your home network reassigns IP address to your PC at some point).

I would guess that the problem you have arises because your PC gets
assigned a different address on your home network and work network. WiFi
sync seems to work by the mobile device looking for a PC with the same IP
