Backlighting and kernel config

I noticed something: When compiling a kernel _ saw 'CONFIG_BACKLIGHT' can this be set in the kernel config file? When I check the kernel vars I saw 'hw.drm2.radeon_backlight'. Shouldnt there be a 'nouveau_backlight' also?

thanks for all of the replies. after posting i tried 9, and that failed to mount /. so i switched from the 128G card to a 32G card, which finally worked. i presume it must be the hw which doesn't work with the larger uSD cards available now (the 128G cost only about $3 more than a 32G...). i al

Hello, Back in 2019, I reported a bug in cp(1): https://gnats.netbsd.org/cgi-bin/query-pr-single.pl?number=54564 This was promptly fixed in src/bin/cp/utils.c rev 1.47 on 2019-09-23, but it looks like this change is not included in cp(1) in NetBSD 9.2: $ ident `which cp` | grep utils.c /bin/cp:
