Ok with that out of the way, I have owned a 1983 cb650sc for about a year and a
half, but I've never learned to ride it. It has a few minor issues so I've only
ridden around a parking lot a few times on it. I need to flush the clutch as
there's no play at all so it just sits in front of the gas
By the way, Javier knows all about how I feel about locking up the front
brake.

I agree, but that's the tricky thing about the turns. If you need to lock
the brakes, I agree locking the rear is better and probably just take the
slide. But for a slight braking during a turn, front brake should be used
with lots of care. On the twisty roads I normally ride steady on the
