Looking at the parts fiche there are two drain hoses. One with a plug and the other looks like the one in your picture. Look at parts 9, 15, 25, and 26.

Lithium ion batteries are picky about their charging. I haven't seen any point in swapping mine, so I have no motorcycle battery experience, but I work with lithium batteries all day, every day. It is going to require changes to the charging system. You will need a charger/maintainer in the

The 83 Nighthawk and others didn't work perfectly with lead acid batteries and most owners probably trickle charged their CB650sc batteries for the best service, but now there are lithium ion rechargeables and I'd like to know the ones that have been used and in particular the largest that will

Check the spark - coils, wires & plugs. I've had to replace a coil. I've got new plugs but have not had time to install. Mine did the same. That's when I discovered 1 & 4 weren't firing Sent from my iPhone > On Feb 14, 2016, at 12:01 PM, Mike Harrison wrote: > > So my

That last looks like the drain from the air box. It's supposed to be plugged off. You should open it whenever you change oil, typically. It will collect water & other liquids that get caught up in the air box Sent from my iPhone > On Feb 14, 2016, at 2:09 PM, Jay McGee

Open drain screws on each bowl and make sure fuel comes out each one. Fresh fuel and a remote tank. If using regular tank, pull vacuum on the petcock vacuum port to prime carbs. The choke on these aren't really a choke but a fuel enrich system. Those circuits can get clogged up. A thin

Thanks for the info Ross... Do you, by chance, know of a link to a photo of what it should look like? (So I can make sure mine's proper). There's three "open" hoses in this area under the engine, the one you mentioned looks like it is supposed to be sealed, but at the "pinch" it has a seem
