Countersteering- Push left, go left. Push right, go right. It only works after about 12-14 miles an hour. What you are doing is putting the tire on edge, so it has no choice but to go that way (layman's terms). The more you push, the more you lean. Bikes can handle more lean than you think they

Basically, pushing lightly on the handlebar on the same side that you're turning. It induces lean, and the change in effective radius and direction of rotation of the tires is what accomplishes the turn rather than a direct change of direction. Best I've got, it's a second Monday for me. Bleah.
