Actually, now that I look at it closer, maybe the rear wheel is offset to
the left a bit?

*Hi All-Two weeks ago I purchased a 1983 Nighthawk 650 that hadn't been
turned over in years. I've got her running now, but need some help on rear
wheel installation / alignment.I think I have the rear wheel installed
correctly, but there are these two "gaps" around the hub on
So I put Seam Foam in the crankcase and the bike completely stopped smoking
out the exhaust after a few hot cold cycles sitting on the center stand.
Cause and effect? Who can say for sure, but I am satisfied. I haven't
rechecked compression yet.
