Anyways, nice to hear that Ruby support gets better!

S and I think a lot of people (a lot of GNU people,
actually) would be attracted by this feature!
Is this possible with Nix(OS)? If yes, would you guys like such a feature?
If yes,... maybe I can implement it (with enough guidance, though)...

Have you ever looked how kernel maintainers do their work? For example
greg-kh with his staging-next branch? Do you think someone actually
goes through these patches except gregkh
tors so that they can focus on

What keeps you from having a "version-bumping" branch where all your
patches are in and open just one PR for all the patches at once?

We had jobs in travis which took 20 minutes because it was always
scheduled (and installed dependencies all the time). Equal
complex jobs in drone took about 7 seconds or something.
I don't know how much it fits for NixOS, though. And, of course, there
is hydra.

Is it actually that much already?
How many packages are there per week, for example? I don't think it is
_that_ much, ...
For example, there are currently 25 PRs on github with the tag
"new-package", only 10 of them from the last 10 days! It is really not
that much!

Awesome! Having dependencies between own packages sounds good to me, I
will try this out! Thanks for pointing out how it works!

Hi,
short update: After I did a `nixos-rebuild switch`, I can boot and
start my kde session, but the plasma desktop crashes right after I
logged in via kdm.
Trying to solve this now. Hints appreciated! :-)

Hi,
can someone update me for the state of ruby(gems) + nix?
I have an idea how to re-use gems with the nix pkg manager, but maybe
there is already a working solution!
