Derek I can't believe what I just read! Wow! My heart is breaking, as I met Melinda with both you guys at foxwoods when we saw the Time. We had a wonderful time that night, and we continued our friendship since then. She has been there for me listening, and giving advice when I needed it. I can't believe this! Another sad piece to this story is that she was killed going home after a rehearsal for the half time show. The crew had gone out after the rehearsal and then she drove home. Her crew didn't even know what happened to her until Kelli found out and told them yesterday. Her team was devastated. I can't believe it...I hope you can find out details Derek. The Oldsmobile drove into the intersection and the path of the Nissan shortly after 1 a.m., the FHP said. The Nissan collided with the driver's side of the Oldsmobile, the FHP said. Wilkinson was taken to Lake Wales Medical Center with minor injuries, the FHP said. So sorry to hear of your loss, my condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. I understand the feeling, my dad has also gone on to the other part of his journey and my cousin transended this earthly life two weeks ago. My prayers are with you at this time.
