Yet the subject of this poem was a young man I met in Germany, who was in the military. He was there for R&R. We use to write poetry together. He was sent to Viet Nam, and was there for only 3 days before he was killed. He was my soulmate, that was in 70. It took me until 82 to really love anyone else. So my poem is about a lost love. I'm sorry to say that poetry.com is infamous for being a money leeching poetry scam. http://windpub.com/literary.scams/ilp.htm search around the net and you'll find other sites like this as well.
