Hi,
has anyone a working SyncTeX setup with ConTeXt LMTX for anything else than
TeXshop?
With LaTeX, it works for me with Skim (+ Atom/Textadept/TeXworks) and

First example looks the same with MkIV and LMTX, second uses \NS that is only

The first column is justified even if it’s defined as left aligned; this

The latter works for me, the first not.

Hi, I’m trying to “translate” the documentation of “fiziko”* from LaTeX to
ConTeXt and would like to avoid the doubling of MP code like:
\startMP
path p;
p := (0,0){dir(30)}..(5cm, 0)..{dir(30)}(10cm, 0);
draw brush (p)(2minStrokeWidth*sin(offsetPathLength*pi));
\stopMP
\startMPcode
Hi, since Jacob started the pony mode, here’s one I’d like to ride:
MetaPost pens are constant, i.e. they never change over the length of a path.
Commercial vector graphics apps have “vector brushes”, e.g. Adobe Fresco:
https://helpx.adobe.com/fresco/using/vector-brushes.html
The page nicely show

Here’s what I have now (result attached):

\defineenumeration[Übung][
text=Übung,
title=yes,
titleleft=,
titleright=,

titlestyle=\SectionFont,

Hi, I’m typesetting a textbook that contains numbered and indented exercises.
They must not float.
Which structure should I use for them? There must be an easy answer, but I draw
a blank.
At the moment I’m using heads, derived from 'section', but the exercises should
have independent numbers,

E.g. in CG journal, there are usually 3 blank lines before a section title.
Most of it is single column and without grid, no problem there. But some
articles use columnsets and are therefore in grid mode.
Sometimes the space before the section title disappears completely, so that it
is glued to
Footnotes still don’t work in columnsets (latest LMTX):
- they stay in one column (I’d prefer them over the whole width of the text
area)
- they often get overwritten by main text
Is there a workaround?

Hi Taco (et al.),
for running the ECMAscript part of the CG journal, I cloned the repo from
https://github.com/ccxvii/mujs/ and executed "make release".
I copied the resulting files to my TeX tree:
ll ~/lmtx/tex/texmf-osx-64/bin/lib/luametatex/mujs/
total 2832

Hi, I’m trying to set up a “handwriting” font.
In the example below I’m using Comic Sans, because probably everyone has it
available, IRL I’m using the commercial “Supernett Cn” that has more styles.
(Also, I’m using Alegreya Serif + Sans.)
If I name it "ss/sans/Sans", it works as expected, but
