Great, this works now!
That was definitely the easiest fix of the day.
Thanks a lot.

As afollow-up, I tried moving the font files some place else.
I first hat the font directory in
~/Library/texmf/
and then put them into
~/Library/texmf//texmf/
where they are apparently found, this time the log file says the font
metrics can't be found.
See below. Do I have to generate them
Hi Thomas,I sticked with a 2005 release from last fall (very old???) to avoid running into incompatibility issues with current projects. After updating (iinstaller), three things happen:i) \eqalign breaks (as noted before on this list, I have to see whether there is a fix... :(ii) updmap-sys works
Oops, that means your TeX installation is really old. Are you using Gerben's distribution? I'd recommend upgrading unless there's an important reason why you wouldn't want to do so. I'm afraid it'll be difficult to help you with your problem on your current installation, I don't have access to a ma

That's due to a change in the TeX Directory Structure. Try running
sudo updmap-sys --enable Map tasgreek.map
and see if that solves your problem.

Thanks, Alan,
this package looks nice, but I can't figure out where to put things,
despite instructions...
I unzip texms.zip and get two directories, which I am supposed to put
into the texmf tree. I tried it with
the directory (on my Mac)
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/
and put all files fo

I would recommend using Thomas Schmitz’ Greek module (http://
modules.contextgarden.net/t-greek). It works very well for me.

Hello,
I'd like to include a short quote in classical greek with all
diacritics in a ConTeXt document
which is otherwise plain english. What is a good way of doing this?

Matthias
